Departments

Command Department: The Command Department consist of the Commanding Officer, Executive Officer, Communcations Officer, and Operations Officer. This departmet on board the USS Commonwealth is responsible for the daily operation of the Commonwealth. The Command Deaprtment is chaired by the Commanding Officer.

Operations Department: The Operations Department, or OPS as it is commnly called, is the office responsible for over seeing all the availaible resources for the USS Commonwealth and its crew. The Operations Department is chaired by the Operations Officer.

Communications Department: The Communications Department, or COMM as it is referred to, is responsible for all ship communication as well as communcations with STARFLEET Headquarters. This department also has the responsiblility of producing all of Commonwealth's documents encluding the chapter newsletter INTERCOM. The Communications Department is Chaired by the Communications Officer.

Science Department: The Science Department is responsible for all the various different sciences know to mankind. This encludes medical sciences as well. The chairman for this department is the Chief Science Officer.

Security Department: The Security Department, Called Security, is tasked with the daily security of the USS Commonwealth and its crewmembers. The Security Department si chaired by the Chief Security Officer.

Engineering Department: The Engineering Department, Known as Engineering, is responsible for the daily operation and maintence of the USS Commonwealth's engines. The Engineering Department is chaire by the Chief Engineering Officer.

Ship Stores Department:The Ship Stores Department, Commonly called Ship Stores, is responsible for the inventory of every component on board the USS Commonwealth. Not only is the Ship Stores incontrol of the ship's inventory but it can also purchase, trade, and sell inventory in order to provide resources to the crew of the Commonwealth.
